When do the gates open?

Do I need to purchase a festival pass as well as a camping pass?
No, camp with your car is included with the purchase of your festival pass.
Do you allow RV’s at Electric Love?
Yes, RV area is an additional cost. Lot sizes will be 40x20ft, just a short walk away from the main festival grounds.
How can I make sure that I camp beside my friends?
If there are additional friends that you want to camp beside, make sure you arrive and check in together to get sites next to or near each other.
Can I have a fire at my campsite?
No fires allowed on site. Fire ban is in full effect.
Are the campgrounds all-ages?
Yes. Electric Love is family friendly but there are age restrictions. Children 12 & under are free but must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. People 17 & under must be accompanied by an adult (18+). We will also have a separate free family camping area away from the festival grounds that we recommend for families. Please register here. Will there be first aid services on the festival grounds?
Yes. First aid services will be on site 24 hours a day, staffed by Doctors and Paramedics with support from Volunteers with Level 3 First Aid and onsite ambulance.
We also offer a sanctuary, a safe calm place offering support and a quiet place to rest. If your feel overwhelmed, out of sorts and need to talk to someone or just chill out for a bit and have some water, Sanctuary staff are happy to help.
Will there be security on the festival grounds?
Yes. We pride ourselves on offering a fun and SAFE festival environment and part of this is a strong security presence. Security is available at all times to guarantee the safety and well-being of our guests.
Will I be able to come back to my campsite during the festival?
Yes. All our campers have unlimited access to the campgrounds for the duration of the festival.
Will food and beverage be available close to the campground?
Yes, food trucks will be available for breakfast, lunch & dinner all weekend supplying you with a wide variety of options.
Is there cell service at Cheam Fishing Village?
Yes, there is cell service on site.
Will there be ice for sale onsite?
Yes, ice will be available on site.
Will there be ATM machines on site?
Yes, ATM's will be setup throughout the festival.
Will there be power at my campsite?
Can I bring a generator?
No generators will be permitted.
Will toilets be available at the campsite?
Yes. There will be multiple toilets on site and serviced daily. Toilet locations will be clearly marked on the festival map - making them easy to find!
Can I smoke at the campground?
Yes, but leaving cigarette butts in and around your campsite or festival grounds will not be tolerated. Please ask for a portable pocket ashtray at the front gate when you arrive.
Can I cook at the campground?
Yes. However, you can only bring enclosed propane BBQs. NO open flame or charcoal grills will be allowed.
Will my bags be searched at the front gate?
Yes. All vehicles, bags and coolers will be searched at the entry gates. We reserve the right to prohibit any harmful or dangerous items from entering the festival grounds. This is for everyone’s safety and security.

What is the plan for garbage/recycling management?
“Leave No Trace” policy in full effect. We will have lots of garbage, recycling & compost stations onsite. These stations will be clearly marked on the festival map - making them easy to find! We encourage you to minimize waste (remove unnecessary packaging) before arriving to the festival ground and bring extra garbage/recycling bags for your campsite.
What if I have to leave the festival? Can I come back?
Yes. There is a $20 per person re-entry fee and you will be subject to security search.
Can I swim in the Fraser River?
Enter the water at your own risk. If you do decide to go into the water we recommend you stay within the designated areas within the buoys . Please be aware that the current in the Fraser River is very strong and swimming, use of floaties & entering the water at night is highly NOT recommended.
Can I bring alcohol to Electric Love? Will there be alcohol served at Electric Love?
No, Electric Love is an alcohol-free event, no alcohol will be sold or permitted on site. Any alcohol found through our security checks will be confiscated.
How do I transfer the pass I bought online into another name?
No need to transfer your pass if you bought online and received a hard copy in the mail. If you purchased your pass online and selected “will call”, please email email@example.com and we will transfer to another name.
Can I bring my own food to the festival?
Yes, you are welcome to bring your own food. There will also be food vendors on site.
After the festival, are we welcome to stay as long as we want?
You are welcome to stay Monday morning but we will need the campgrounds cleared by 4pm to give access to our clean up team.
What if I want to stay and camp Monday night?
You are more than welcome to stay Monday night, payment office for camping can found near the boat launch.
Will there be early entry before the gates open on Friday?
No, there is no early entry. Gates open at 10:00am.
Will there be free water on site?
Yes, we will have water refill stations located all over the festival grounds.
Can I bring my dog?
Sorry, we love animals but no animals will be permitted on site. Service animals are OK with documentation, email firstname.lastname@example.org for further instruction.
