Band Showcase

Starting everyday at 5 pm, The Nest stage hosts a Band Showcase until sunset and features Western Canada's finest up and coming live rock ensembles such as Five Alarm Funk, Calling All Captains, Chase Your Words, and Hawking. 

Take a journey back to the summer of 67' with Flower Power Friday and experience the evolution of Rock n Roll up until present day. One should expect to soak up a wide range of rock subgenres such as classic, psychedelic rock, psych pop, pop-punk, indie, folk, alternative & acid. 

No matter what time you come at, this talented line-up of live ensembles provide an alternative to the electronic acts that dominate the other stages. Make sure you take some time to experience the synchronicity of instruments while hearing the whole spectrum of frequencies in absolute precision on the PK sound system. Keeping it groovy and keeping it live, the Band Showcase is a great start to a memorable evening.
