Electric Love Music Festival

Three custom stages with state of the art audiovisual experiencest. This four day transformational music & arts festival was ranked as one of BC's 5 Best Electronic Music Festivals by the Georgia Straight in 2017. #danceandbefree. 

Code of conduct

Electric Love (EL) strives to be an inclusive experience for everyone to dance and be free; regardless of ability, age, race, orientation, gender, or expression. EL is a space free of harassment in accordance with the BC Human Rights Code and WorkSafeBC.

EL is committed to addressing the following behaviour:

  • Racism, misogyny, sexism, ableism, classism, cultural appropriation, homophobia, transphobia, and all other forms of discrimination and oppression, spoken, written, printed, or worn; 

  • Sexual harassment and assault, inappropriate unwelcome comments, and like behaviours; 

  • Not getting explicit and exuberant consent before photographing, recording, or touching others;

  • Disruptive, destructive, or disrespectful behaviour / language that makes others feel unwelcome / unsafe or damages property; and/or,

  • Disregard for safety measures & community harm reduction.

As a community it is our collective responsibility to safely address and/or report harmful behaviour during in-person events and in digital spaces. Witnessed or reported violations will be addressed and the appropriate remedial / restorative action will be taken. The appropriate action will be determined on a case-by-case basis and with involvement from those who reported the issue.
