REFUNDS

Refunds will show automatically on your credit card in about 5-10 business days from July 27, 2021. We are presently working out a method of refunds with Showpass for transferred passes. Will announce shortly

BEFORE & DURING ARRIVAL 

Is this event all-ages and do I need ID?

No, this is a 19+ event. ID required for entry.

  • Accepted ID: An official government issued ID (including foreign government issued) with name, picture and birth date; such as a driver's licence or passport. 

  • Passes purchased online must match ID and credit card name. 

When is the front gate open?

Friday, August 6th:  2:00pm - 12:00am

Saturday, August 7th:  10:00am - 10:00pm

Will there be early entry before the gates open on Friday?

No, there is no early entry. Gates open at 2:00pm.

What if I have to leave the Retreat? Can I come back?

Yes. There is a $20 per person re-entry fee and you will be subject to a security search.

Can I bring my own food to the Retreat?

Yes, we encourage everyone to bring their own food and snacks. Details on food vendors and hours of operation can be found in the Campingsection. 

Will my bags be searched at the front gate?

Yes. All vehicles, bags and coolers will be searched at the entry gates. We reserve the right to prohibit any harmful or dangerous items from entering the Retreat grounds. This is for everyone’s safety and security.

ACCESS & VEHICLE PASSES

How many passes will you be selling?

This event will have a limited capacity in comparison to our annual music festival.

If I purchased my Retreat pass online, do I need to bring my ID and credit card?

Yes, all passes will need to match the name on your ID and credit card at the front gate when entering the Retreat.

Do I need to purchase a Retreat pass as well as a camping pass?

No, camping is included with the purchase of your weekend pass. Vehicles will be placed in 10ft x 25ft camping spot

How do I transfer a “Electric Love Retreat” pass I bought online into another name?

Do I need to purchase an oversized vehicle pass?

Yes, each over-sized vehicle on site will be subject to a vehicle charge. Any vehicles 22ft and over will require an oversized vehicle pass at a cost of $150.

Oversized vehicles will be placed in a 15ft x 35ft camping area. We do not have RV hookups on site.  (Example: Car + Trailer = Ft) 

I purchased an oversized vehicle pass but want to camp close to friends in GA?

We do have a designated over-sized vehicle area although, if you would like to camp closer to your friends you can do so as long as you can fit into a 10ft x 25ft camping spot.

CAMPING

What is the plan for garbage/recycling management in the campgrounds?

We encourage minimizing waste (remove unnecessary packaging) before arriving at the Retreat grounds and bring extra garbage/recycling bags for your campsite. 

There will be limited garbage and recycling stations for light waste and will be marked clearly on the Retreat map.

As stewards of the land, we all must respect the environment by adhering to a Leave No Trace policy. Always pack out what is packed in. Drop beats not butts.

After the Retreat, are we welcome to stay as long as we want?

You are welcome to stay until 4:00pm Sunday August 8th, our green team requires access at that time to clean the grounds. 

How can I make sure that I camp beside my friends?

If there are additional friends that you want to camp with, arrive and check in together to get sites next to or near each other.

Can I park my car with my tent?

Yes, you can park your car with your tent. Vehicles will be placed in 10ft x 25ft camping spot.

Will there be power at my campsite?

No.

Will I be able to come back to my campsite during the event?

Yes, all our campers have unlimited access to the campgrounds for the duration of the Retreat.

Will toilets be available at the campsite?

Yes. There will be multiple "Porta-Potty" toilets and will be clearly marked on the Retreat map - making them easy to find! Hand washing stations will be placed outside of all toilets, please use them before entering and after exiting.  

Will food and beverage be available close to the campground?

Yes. Food vendors will be available during lunch and dinner time. Vegetarian, gluten-free, and vegan options are available.

It is recommended to bring food and snacks for the duration of the Retreat as vendors are not operational 24 hours a day.

Can I cook at the campground?

Yes. However, you can only bring enclosed propane BBQs. NO open flame or charcoal grills will be allowed.

Can I have a fire at my campsite?

No fires allowed. Fire ban is in full effect.

Can I smoke at the campground?

Yes, although we must be very careful this season as forest fires run wild. Cigarette butts found in and around your campsite or Retreat grounds will not be tolerated. Please bring a pocket ashtray when packing for the event. 

THE COVE & AMENITIES

  

What territory does the Retreat take place on?

Electric Love Retreat takes place on the shared traditional and unceded territories of the Nlaka'pamux, Stó:lō, & Stz'uminus First Nations.

Is there river & creek access and what times are they open for use?

Yes, The Cove offers a river & creek for all at the event. The river is open all day, please respect the current and stay away once the sun has set. Swim at your own risk.

Can I bring my floating device?

Yes, you sure can! Just make sure you tie it down so you don’t float down the river.

Where can I find a schedule and map of the Retreat?

The week leading up to the Retreat look to our social media pages for slot times and a map so you can schedule your dance floor plans accordingly.

Is there cell service at The Cove?

Yes, although it is spotty in certain areas.

Will there be free water on site?

Yes, we will have a water refill station located on the Retreat grounds.

Will there be ice for sale?

Yes, ice will be available.

Will there be ATM machines?

Yes, ATM's will be available.

HEALTH & SAFETY

 

Will there be a communicable disease prevention plan?

Yes, a communicable disease prevention plan will be in full effect with signage throughout event grounds. Hand washing stations will be placed outside of all toilets. Please respect everyone's personal space, we are all in our own restart situations.

Will you be required to have your COVID19 vaccination or partial vaccination to attend the event?

As per PHO recommendations, we will not be asking for vaccination cards at this event.

Will there be first aid and harm reduction services at the Retreat?

Yes. First aid services will be on site 24 hours a day.

Harm reduction support services are available; a safe calm place offering support and a quiet place to rest. If you feel overwhelmed, out of sorts and need to talk to someone or just chill out for a bit and have some water, sanctuary staff are happy to help.

We strive to be an inclusive experience for everyone to dance and be free; regardless of ability, age, race, orientation, gender, or expression. We are committed to addressing the following behaviour: abuse, discrimination, and/or harassment. If you feel uncomfortable at any point during the Retreat, please don't hesitate to reach out to our staff, harm reduction team, or visit the sanctuary.

Safer Spaces Policy

Will there be security on the event grounds?

Yes, we pride ourselves on offering a fun and SAFE Retreat environment and part of this is a strong security presence. Security is always available to guarantee the safety and well-being of our guests.

Will Electric Love Retreat be opening applications?

Unfortunately, due to time restraints, we will not be opening applications for this event.
