RRKADE, natively from Nova Scotia, began setting vibes in 2005. Growing up with a background in hip hop, RRKADE took his passion for bass music and fused it with electronic dancehall and club remixes. After relocating to the West Coast in 2008, he was signed to Where It's At Entertainment, has toured with hip hop heavyweight Evil Ebenezer, and was the go-to DJ for hip hop event's in BC. Between shows, RRKADE has maintained a residency at The Belmont in the heart of Downtown Vancouver since 2012 for his open style DJ club format. In 2013, RRKADE won the CanThill - Move The Crowd DJ Contest and was nominated as one of Vancouver’s top 5 DJ’s on VNA’s (Vancouver Nightlife Awards) DJ list in 2 categories, Electronic and Hip Hop. After moving into more of a trap bass music scene in 2015, RRKADE released his first full length album titled "Da Block". He has since been putting his mark in the electronic music community, playing shows all over BC and Alberta. Constantly releasing new music and branching deep into the electronic scene, RRKADE is devoted more than ever to playing shows across North America and around the world.
