Desert Dwellers is a profound duo from the desert that specializes in providing cross-genre, transcendental experiences that awaken the third eye. Composed of Amani Friend and Treavor Moontribe, their rise to prominence began in the deserts of California and New Mexico in the 1990's. Their consistent presence in the festival circuit has been enduring, and their style has evolved into a global movement of festival goers who seek an enriched experience through their music as well as others such as Kalya Scintilla, David Starfire and Adam Shaikh. Downtempo and uplifting, their music is a mixture of world music and futuristic electronic production. Their psychedelic sound insights creative thought and can put one into a state of trance. They create music that awakens the spirit, making it suitable for meditation and yoga. Their music has introduced many who engage in the practice to electronic music and introduced many fans of electronic music to the practice of yoga.
