The DnB Trio of Andy Wright, Benjamin Wiggett, and Simon Bassline Smith have been putting in work since the 80's. Officially coming together in 1998 in the town of Derby, UK, they are the founders of Technique Recordings, one of the world's top DnB Labels.

Starting from side rooms in unlicensed warehouse raves, Drumsound & Bassline Smith were some of the first to make the genre digestible to the masses. By adding delicate melodies and soulful vocals to their production palette, they opened up doors for new fans and producers to explore. Reaching BBC Radio One charts on multiple occasions, they have laid the foundation for similar acts such as Netsky, Wilkinson, and SIGMA to thrive.

Despite their mainstream success, they will never forget where they came from. They represent the genre to its fullest Deep, Dark, Dirty, Funky, and Soulful, They remain true to the DnB underground by supporting all facets of the genre. Showcasing some of the genre's finest with Technique Recordings they also consistently pump out mixes with their weekly "Live & Direct" mix series which is now at Volume #37.
