The Prototypes

The Prototypes is a Drum and Bass duo from Brighton formed by Chris Garvey and Nick White in the late 2000's. Their first remix came out in 2007 with their first original release coming in 2010 on Futurebounds Viper Recordings and have been exclusively releasing music on the imprint since 2014. In 2016, they launched Get Hype Records. In its short time of existence, it has already earned substantial recognition in the Bass Music scene and has already had releases reach the top of the Beatport charts. They also have releases on Formation, Shogun, Never Say Die and Infrared.

Epic interludes, massive build ups, and even bigger drops make a Prototypes set a memorable experience that lights up the body and mind. Their success over the past decade has made them a quintessential component of any DnB aficionados collection. Staying true to the genre while showcasing its diversity, their style ranges from radio-friendly vocal heavy hits to heavy, faceless and chaotic jump-up.
